If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your enquiry or investigate a correction. Email is handled through Gmail. Please do not send payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information. You can contact us at the same address to request access to or deletion of your correspondence.

Information on this site

Porchleaf currently has no contact form, email signup, analytics tag, advertising tag or tracking pixel. Search, filters and the soil calculator run in your browser. Calculator measurements and filter choices are not submitted. Search terms appear in the page address; if you reload or share that address, those terms can be included in hosting requests and logs.

Hosting and technical data

The hosting provider processes requests needed to deliver the site, which may include IP addresses, browser information and security logs. Access controls may use provider-managed authentication. We do not claim that the hosting service collects no information. See the provider’s privacy policy for its practices.

Downloads and external websites

PDF downloads do not require an email address. Linked university and public-agency sites operate under their own policies. Their content is not embedded here.

Future changes

Before adding analytics, advertising or subscriptions, we will update this page and implement any required privacy choices. No advertising consent is requested in this edition because no advertising tags are loaded.
